Torrey helped me achieve something I never thought I could.

I recommend Torrey to anyone seeking valuable, one of a kind flight training!
I got my first flight into actual instrument meteorological conditions (IMC) yesterday morning with Torrey Zook. He is a great instructor!
After the flight, I high-fived him, taxied back to the hangar, paid, got endorsed, then drove home with a big dumb grin on my face. I can’t wait to do that again!
I just want to say you are an awesome flight instructor and pilot. I’m learning a lot. I like learning new stuff. Constantly reading and putting what I’ve read into practice…Priceless!
I have wanted to learn to fly my whole life. After moving to the Dallas area, I searched for a flight school and visited several big schools.
I was most impressed with Torrey and his professional approach to flight instruction.
The personal approach they provide makes all the difference.
I wanted to compliment you regarding your flight student that was soloing at the McKinney airport. He was on top of all the radio calls, looking out for other airplanes and even caught me once with a mistake.
You have done a great job training him to be a surperb pilot. He is welcome at our airport anytime!

Above it All Aviation is independently owned and operated. We are not a flight school in the traditional sense. Rather we operate as independent instructors to give you the best flexibility in your training. Our mission is to help our students learn to fly on their own time around their schedule. You still receive a full flight program (curriculum), but we will teach you to fly at any time of day and on the weekend! Many of our students fly after work in the afternoon, and evening hours. Thanks to our accelerated pilot training, you will earn their private pilot certificate in as little as one to three months. At AIA we work with many different types of pilots Some of these include:
New students who have little to no experience in flying a plane.
Existing pilots who are looking to get advanced certifications or licenses.
Former pilots who want to get back into flying or want to learn the controls of a new aircraft.
Whatever your level of experience may be, a Certified Flight Instructor will work with you on a one-on-one basis to help meet your flight goals. Call us to learn more (214) 402-9916.
Please note that we have recently relocated to Northwest Regional airport for most operations. Google has the wrong address and we are in the process of updating. Contact us with questions.
We are looking for a few very specific models to bring under management.
We are growing RAPIDLY have expanded to the west side of town.
We are looking for:
-G1000 equipped Cessna 172 / 182
-Diamond DA40 – Extremely high demand!
-Traditional cockpit Cessna 172
-We are also seeking a multi-engine aircraft; Duchess, Seminole or other training friendly twin.
Your airplane can make YOU money. Call, text or email for more details.
IFR training can be completed in just 2 or 3 weeks with our FAA Approved Instrument flight training course. Before we begin, remember that you need to log at least 40 hours of flight by reference to the aircraft instruments.
A commercial pilot license will allow you to get paid to fly as a pilot. By law, commercial pilot applicants must be at least 18 years old, and as previous certificates require, must also be able to read, speak, write and understand English.
If you already have a Commercial License, becoming a CFI is usually less than 20 hours of flying to receive the certification. AIA Aviation offers Cerfified Flight Instructor (CFI) & Cerfied Flight Instructor, Instrument (CFII) training.
AIA Aviation is privately owned operated by an FAA Certified Flight Instructor with over 5,000 training hours. Our private one-on-one training means that you will not be bouncing around between novice instructors. At AIA Aviation you will receive the absolute best training in order to prepare you for real world aviation challenges.
Not every student learns at the same rate, which means your training course and curriculum needs to change and be modified throughout your training in order to help you succeed. If you have multiple instructors – which is often the case through a large aviation school – they follow a pre-designed curriculum that fails to meet the pilot’s needs. Our personalized training is designed to fit YOU and your mission.
ACCESS TO EXECUTIVE AIRCRAFT
We have worked hard to form partnerships with several local flying clubs and organizations to give our pilots access to executive level aircraft. Our fleet is professionally and meticulously cared for. Prior to your flight class, we go over each one of our planes to help you chose the plane you feel most comfortable in.
Thanks to Pilot Finance Inc., you can go through your Private Pilot License and Instrument Rating for as little as $200 Per month. Our accelerated curriculum can get you into as many as 5 classes per week to help you achieve your goals in as little as 2 months. As long as you do your part, you will be able to graduate with a Private Pilot License and / or Instrument Rating.
The Cessna 172’s are located at Northwest Regional (52F) and the Cessna 182 is located Addison Airport (KADS) or we can fly to you!
Hours are by appointment only. Please contact us to set up a meeting or to get started today.
